Coldplay To Take A Break After World Tour

Coldplay will take a hiatus once their world tour comes to an end, to ensure their fans don't tire of them.

Still on their lengthy tour, the band have been on the road since last year when they released their 'Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends' album.

Guitarist Johnny Buckland hints that Coldplay may avoid the limelight in the coming months, possibly to start work on a new record.

"We ended up doing much more touring than we originally planned so there's no time to do proper justice to a new project." Buckland is quoted as saying. "And anyway people may need a bit of a break from us."

"We're taking a little break and let's see where we get after that. We've got a lot of ideas but we want to find a new way to go and that may take some time."
