Bono 'Disappointed' With Latest Album Sales

U2 singer Bono is disappointed by the lack of sales of the band's current album, 'No Line On The Horizon'.

Despite the success of their 12th studio album, the record is their lowest selling of the past ten years. And Bono feels it is the lack of "pop songs" on the LP that is to blame for a lack of interest.

"We weren't really in that mindset and we felt that the album was a kind of an almost extinct species, and we should approach it in totality and create a mood and a feeling, and a beginning, middle and an end." He told Spinner.

"And I suppose we've made a work that is a bit challenging for people who have grown up on a diet of pop stars."

U2 are planning to tour in 2010 and have already announced their initial European concert dates. They're also streaming a live concert on YouTube tonight (October 25).
