Blur fans will be saddened to hear that the band have no plans to record new songs together, despite reforming recently for a series of summer gigs.
Bassist Alex James broke the news in an interview with the BBC. He says other than the shows, Blur are not "doing anything else whatsoever".
"That was what we said we'd do and we did it and it was great. It hasn't been mentioned the idea of doing anything else but hey, it was great," James added.
When asked about how he felt following the reunion concerts, which included headlining Glastonbury Festival last month, Alex said: "It was very, very emotional. Everything we hoped it would be and more."
Outside of Blur, James recently signed a deal to sell his home-made organic cheese through Prince Charles' Duchy Originals brand.
