The Cure Tells Fans Not To Buy Their New Download Remix EP

The Cure have told fans not to buy their new download remix EP from iTunes, because it costs too much.

Frontman Robert Smith says of the £7.99 EP, that the pricing was "absurd". Proceeds from the release will be donated to the International Red Cross, but the singer has advised fans to hold off getting out their credit cards until the price has been lowered.

"It's fab and the money... is going to a good cause but please only buy this 5-track EP from iTunes when it is available for around £4.00 or less and you get the free remix," Smith writes on The Cure's website.

Meanwhile, the band will release new album '4:13 Dream' on October 28th.
