Ne-Yo Says Mom Inspired Year Of The Gentleman Album

Ne-Yo says the inspiration for his new album 'Year Of The Gentleman' was his mother.
"She is the strongest woman on the face of the planet," the R&B star tells USA Today. "I've seen her go through unimaginable obstacles, and you would never know she had a bad day in her life."
"I know this will sound really clichéd, but I need a woman like my mom. That's what Miss Independent is about - a woman that can achieve anything, despite whatever."
Ne-Yo releases 'Year Of The Gentleman' this week.
