Albert Hammond Jr. is to branch outside of music and into the fashion world for his new project - a line of men's suits.
The Strokes guitarist is to co-design the range with stylist Ilaria Urbinati and the suits will then be sold at the Confederacy store in Los Angeles. Urbinati co-owns the store with Danny Masterson and it is set to open doors shortly.
"I want to make suits that I'm going to have for myself," Hammond Jr. tells New York Magazine.
"They're for the person who needs his one suit for a wedding. He'd rather get something like this than go to Men's Wearhouse, pay the same amount, and look like an out-of-date parent."
