Pitbull is Cuban-American rapper Armando Christian Perez. After appearing on several tracks by other MC's, Perez released his first album in 2004 named M.I.A.M.I.
Besides rapping, he has also released several acclaimed mix tape albums and his tracks have featured on numerous computer games. His music, which incorporates Cuban and American influences, has drawn comparisons to the likes of 2 Live Crew and Afro-Rican.
In 2006, Pitbull caused controversy by writing a song entitled Ya Se Acabo, wanting Cuban Leader Fidel Castro to die.
