Portishead - New Song #1

This is what Portishead fans have been waiting for - the first new material from the band since their 1997 self-titled album.

It's expected the new Portishead long-player will surface in early 2008, as a blog post by Geoff Barrow in October suggested they were wrapping on work on the record.

As you probably know, the group curated the ATP Nightmare Before Christmas weekend (just gone) and a member of the audience has captured the band performing one of their new songs on the Friday night (December 7th).
