Hot Chip - Ready For The Floor

We'll be hearing a lot more from Hot Chip in the coming months, what with the band touring in February and the release of their third album Made In The Dark set for the same month.

First though, the group have lined-up the first single from the record - Ready For The Floor on January 27th 2008. The video is clearly influenced by Batman as frontman Alexis Taylor is split into two characters like Two-Face and one half sees him painted-up like the Joker (complete with green hair, purple suit and white make-up).

The song sees the quartet taking a synth-led route of electro and pop, which has the potential to rival the success of Over & Over. Stream links are below this youTube video:
