This year saw the first solo album from DMC, formerly from influential hip hop group Run DMC.
You can watch a video for one of the songs from the album, named Just Like Me here today, which much like many of Run DMC's tracks, introduces rock and guitars to hip hop.
Earlier this week, we also revealed that the rapper would be involved in setting up a special Summer camp for kids. Details can be read here.
The album itself Checks Thugs Rock N Roll and is out now.
