Stanley Theatre

The Stanley Theatre used to be known as Liverpool Academy 2. Originally a theatre built in the 1930s, it became a gig venue following its refurbishment in 2001.

A distinct feature of the Stanley Theatre is its removeable ceiling, which is opened up on busy nights to let guests on to a balcony.
