Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am continues his solo career with 'Heartbreaker', the new single featuring the lovely Cheryl Cole (or is it Tweedy, depending on this weeks gossip).
To be quite blunt, this single is dull. The tune is dreary as are the lyrics, and the only exciting part of the tune is the video when Cheryl turns up to provide some eye candy. Will.i.am isn't a good singer, so sticking to more uplifting tunes would be a good place to start. Not that this is a ballad, I'm not quite sure what to class it; other than boring.
Cheryl (from Girls Aloud) as usual provides some good vocals, but the song is wasted on her and to be honest, I'd advise her to stick with the band and keep belting out classics like 'Sexy! No No No...' and 'Call The Shots'. As for Will.i.am, he should try and jazz things up a bit too, as songs like this won't do anything for his career other than make people focus on the backing singer!
This song has one good point, which is it's chorus. You won't forget it in a hurry but sadly, you'll probably wish you did.
