T.I. - Dead And Gone (Feat. Justin Timberlake)

Together they've had a hit single before (2006's 'My Love') and now hoping for similar success, Atlanta rapper T.I. has brought in 'SexyBack' star Justin Timberlake for his new single, 'Dead And Gone'.

The track from last year's 'Paper Trail' was produced by Timberlake and the blend of horns, pianos, synths and tumbling beats share the traits of a Timbaland production. Differing from the usual fusion of R&B and hip-hop, there's also a seriousness to the song - particularly in the heartfelt vocals of Justin and the strong lyrical message of T.I. - as the pair warn listeners to think about their actions first, before jumping into certain situations.

It looks as though the pairing of T.I. and pop crooner Timberlake are well on the way to scoring another transatlantic hit.
