The Magic Numbers - Love Me Like You

2005 couldn't have been kinder to the Magic Numbers, since their first single Forever Young entered the charts in the top 20 and their debut self-titled album was on the receiving end of rave reviews.

In the same fashion as their album, Love Me Like You is a four minute Summer sunshine pop tune with West Coast melodies and shared male/female harmonies (the band actually consist of two pairs of brother & sister). Influences include everything from 60's harmony groups Mamas and Papas, psychedelic indie band The Flaming Lips and more traditional singer-songwriters like Bob Dylan.

Dictated by its driven bassline, jangly guitars and care-free vocals, this is lighthearted music evidently made more fun by the group's close bond.
