Prodigy - Omen

Old-skool alien rave synths, snarling post-punk vocals, industrial chainsaw guitars and breakbeat drums. Yup, it could only be the grand return of the original rave dons, The Prodigy.

'Omen' is a typically raw and brash number from new album 'Invaders Must Die', that strays not to far from pretty much all of their input since 1994's major breakthrough album 'Music For The Jilted Generation'. You could argue that the once inventive band have become predictable over the years, but when you've stumbled upon the perfect combination of rave-punk and a sound you can credit as your own, you'd be a mug for changing.

The kings of dance-rock don't look to be stripped of their title anytime soon.
