Pendulum - The Other Side

Those Aussie-turned-UK residents Pendulum were nearly celebrating a number one single with Propane Nightmares , and with newie 'On 'The Other Side' finding the band at their most poppiest yet, is this a surefire way to go straight-to-the-top?

Well, given that this is a better "song", it should - but without the same in-your-face blaring beats of their last track, it is doubtful it will be greeted in the same way. It is a weird one for a pop song though, sort of wonky dance-rock created by the Chemical Brothers or slightly disturbed new-wave if done by an alien version of Daft Punk.

It is modern-day Pendulum by numbers as they continue to distance themselves from their drum'n'bass past, but when you can write instant-hit chart bangers, why wouldn't you?
