Paramore - Ignorance

"It's going to be a very different record", singer Hayley Williams said of Paramore's forthcoming 'Brand New Eyes' album at the end of last year. While that may not be massively true in the case of 'Ignorance', it has to be said the 'Twilight' soundtrackers are sounding heavier than ever on the record's leading single.

'Ignorance' is one of those rare moments that has catchiness and a radio-friendly accessibility, without losing any of its impact. It goes a long to capture the fiery rawness of the band's live shows - the guitars and drums hit as hard as a punch to the chest, Hayley's exuberant vocals have stepped up a level and the band sound like a tighter, closer unit.

We may also be getting to see the start of a darker, edgier and more exciting Paramore - which is no bad thing! 'Brand New Eyes' is looking pretty damn exciting right about now.
