Paramore - Decode

Paramore's 'Decode' is the lead single for the 'Twilight' movie and as far as soundtracks go, it ranks up there with Nickelback's 'Spiderman' theme 'Hero'.

The single is very similar to Evanescence - not only because it's a pop-rock band with a female lead singer - but also because of the style and heaviness of the track. With shouted lyrics and hard-edged music, it can be easy to lose the chance of having a catchy song, yet 'Decode' still manages to hang on despite it's tough rock sound. 'Decode' also has a semi-romantic feel, without being the least bit slushy thanks to the screeching guitars and rawness.

Singer Hayley Williams admits to being a big fan of the movie and says she was really excited when the band were able to record a song for the soundtrack. Not only is this a great single in it's own right, it also fits perfectly with the feel of the film - both fans of 'Twilight' and established fans of the band, are sure to love this track equally.
