Easily the standout moment from her genre twisting album Arular, Bucky Done Gone is the third single release from the enigmatic M.I.A.

M.I.A. is something of a rare individual in present music, with her debut mixing everything from grime, hip hop, electro and r & b with dizzying effect; her album was greeted with huge media acclaim and with it came satisfying sales and an uber-cool reputation.

Bucky Done Gun is led by booming sub-basslines, rapid blasts of horn and early 80's programmed electro beats, in one of her most dance-floor and accessible tracks. The A-side is backed numerous remixes, although few offer anything as close to the forceful, addictive qualities of the original.
