Madonna - Celebration

After a brief flirtation with Timbaland and Timberlake on last album 'Hard Candy' (which didn't quite get the rave reviews such a high-profile collaboration should have received), Madonna takes it back to her dancier side on 'Celebration'. Here, Madge is taking her sound straight back to the nightclub dancefloor, and her partner in crime is Paul Oakenfold.

"Let's get this started, cause everybody wants to party with you", Madonna sings on her most feel-good, radio-directed pop song we've heard in some time. Taking a strong Euro-pop stance, it is a genuine guilty pleasure - wrong on so many levels (cheesy sounds, corny lyrics and even cornier singing), yet it's so catchy you will find yourself dancing along like a fool in no time.

She may have had her ups and downs, particularly in her most recent years, but no one can deny Madonna can conjure up a great pop song when she really wants to.
