It was always going to be interesting to see how Lady Gaga would produce a slower style of song. It was unlikely she would release a ballad, but going off statistics her next single was due to take the tempo down a notch - and that's exactly what 'Paparazzi' does.

With this song, Lady Gaga has lost none of her dancey edge, but has somehow managed to meld the contagious beats of her previous hits with a beautiful melody, to create another infectious track.

Whether you're merely listening to the tune or focusing on the lyrics, 'Paparazzi' is a sure winner. It's enchanting melody could fool you into believing it's an adorable love song, but the words tell the story of an obsessive stalker, and the whole contrast of sweet and psychotic makes this track "fantastical".

Though it might not sell as well as 'Just Dance' or 'Poker Face', 'Paparazzi' is no doubt one of Gaga's best releases yet. There are songs that are too catchy and drive you mad, and songs you hum all day and can't wait to hear again - this is definitely one of the latter.
