Kaiser Chiefs - I Predict A Riot

Everyone's current favourite indie band reissue their first single.

A lot has changed for The Kasier Chiefs since the release of I Predict A Riot first time around. Sell out tours have followed, as well as a large steady fanbase and a nomination for the Mercury Music Prize (whom they are favourites to win).

I Predict A Riot is uplifting and jaunty indie that seems to be doing really well these days. With Morrisey-esque vocals and a fist in-the-air Pulp style sing-along chorus, it's like Britpop never went away. While the Kaisers may be great at melodies, tight performers and even better at getting those lyrics glued to you head, they tread far too close to music already gone by and offer nothing that hasn't been done before as such.

Enjoy it while you can, the band probably only have a year more on their shelf life.
