Janet Jackson - Luv

People have often been convinced that Michael and Janet Jackson are in fact one and the same... since hearing this song I'm almost sure it's true. When I first heard new single 'Luv' I actually thought it was Michael singing, then only after checking the CD I realised it wasn't - but still, it was hard to figure out whether it was male or female singer, unless you knew. Michael and Janet fans will hate hearing this, but it's true!

Back to the song itself - other than its gender questioning vocals, 'Luv' is as dull and forgettable as any other Janet Jackson song. Nothing much happens with the tune and her singing isn't sounding too good either. I can't see this song going far but then Janet has never had the same success as Michael, and yet like Danni Minogue, she still seems to think she'll get it purely through a family name rather than talent.
