Pop-rock, Disney soundtracks, electropop, Hilary Duff has done it all in her few years as a singer, proving the actress can try her hand at whatever type of music she wants and still produce a successful song. 'Reach Out' is a bonus track on her recent 'Greatest Hits' package and is a Depeche Mode-sampling lesson in dancey, synth-heavy sex-pop, co-written with Ryan Tedder of OneRepublic .
"Reach out and touch me" Duff sings suggestively and when paired with the controversial video (as censored by U.S. TV stations), we may finally be seeing Hilary all grown up. It should do well, no doubt there - considering the current trend of electro-pop, with the club beat, rocky guitar sample and a confident sexiness in the vocals - it's similar to what we've been hearing from Miss Spears lately.
