Eva Simons - Silly Boy

Many people mistook this debut single to be Rihanna and Lady Gaga when it was first leaked online in May - and you can certainly see why. The music is typical of one of Gaga's dance classics, and Eva Simons has a very similar voice to the 'Umbrella' star.

As far as 'Silly Boy' goes, it should do very well for the Dutch singer. The single contains all the perfect aspects for a hit song going off recent trends; from the edgy female vocals with attitude, to the funky electropop tune, there's no reason that Eva's debut couldn't go straight to the top of the charts.

With an already booming online fanbase, Eva has a head-start at becoming a star. But even without that, this track falls so perfectly into today's preferred style of listening, that she would have probably become a success if she'd have appeared from nowhere.
