Dizzee Rascal - Dance Wiv Me (Feat. Calvin Harris)

If Wiley proved making an easy-on-the-ears dance track was the easiest way to reach the top 10, it's no wonder former ally Dizzee Rascal has jumped in on the game. He's collaborated with Calvin Harris (the dude responsible for 'Acceptable In The 80s'), but don't let that put you off; 'Dance Wiv Me' is a pretty decent tune by all accounts.

Rascal's impressive rap skills are not in full effect here, in fact the cheesy easy-flow lyrics couldn't be further away from the pirate radio rhymes Dizzee started off with back in the day. But his half-lazy tone suits the mix of funky house and 80s electro-pop backing brilliantly. Despite the artists coming from two very different backgrounds, 'Dance Wiv Me' definitely works and midweek sales hint Rascal could be grabbing his first number 1 single.
