Dandy Warhols - Smoke It

You either love the Dandy Warhols or hate them. With phone commercials and eye-rolling lyrics of heroin abuse aside, you have to admit the band are great at writing a decent pop-rock tune.

Smoke It is one of the finer moments from Odditorium Or Warlords Of Mars, which is the Warhol's fifth album and finds them looking back to the addictive qualities of their high selling Thirteen Tales Of Urban Bohemia and Come Down albums. The single is another polished chunk of twee keyboard sounds, jangly rock and bluesy riffs of which their idol Lou Reed would be proud.

Smoke It is a jumpy, entertaining track and with groups of people yelping and cheering all over the chorus, it's a perfect 4 minutes of feel-good partying.
