Estelle - Come Over (Featuring Sean Paul)
[Atlantic Records]

'American Boy' is one of, if not THE single of the year, so Estelle has a big weight on her shoulders to keep delivering songs of the same universally-loved, high calibre. So what has the UK star done for her latest effort? She's only brought in Sean Paul for the flirtastic reggae ballad 'Come Over'.

It's all a bit lovey lyrics wise ("Won't you come over love, sure I can show you love. Promise I got enough to give you all that you need baby") and as you would guess by the cameo appearance, there's a bit of a Jamaican theme and strong reggae-ish vibe going on. But if anything, its Sean's vocals that are holding Estelle back - she sounds as strong as ever and the track is a fairly upbeat listen - but Mr Paul's contribution is a big no no.

At least this single proves one thing - Estelle doesn't need to keep collaborating with high profile names to boost her career - she's already made a name for herself and her vocals far outdo any star appearance. Maybe 'Shine's sequel should remain a guest-free zone.
