'Save You' is a great little rock ballad from Montreal band Simple Plan and what makes it all the more special, is that proceeds from the single will go to cancer charities all over the world.

The song was written after singer Pierre Bouvier's brother fought with the disease, and as the band themselves say: "We should get involved and use our voice to make a difference in the fight against cancer."

This track is filled with obvious heartfelt passion - the melody hits all the right notes that give you goosebumps, and is similar in style to pop rockers Nickelback and American Idol winner David Cook.

'Save You' is certainly contagious - the lyrics are meaningful, the tune is great and the cause is even greater.
