Alesha Dixon - That Boy Does Nothing

'The Boy Does Nothing' is Alesha's first single with new label Asylum Records, but unfortunately for the singer, winning Strictly Come Dancing doesn't mean you're going to sound any better.

The vocals are annoying and whiney, and when the song begins it sounds as though it might be slightly reggae inflenced (perhaps due to Alesha's voice), but then turns into a dodgy Ricky Martin-style tune.

'The Boy Does Nothing' is catchy enough, so in that sense it might do well, but it's mainly just a load of feminist drivel, and more than anything, it's quite clear that Alesha isn't a particularly good singer.
