'Forgive Me' is the next track to be released by the latest hot thing all over the globe, Leona Lewis. Missing from the UK version of her hit debut album 'Spirit', the song is a step away from her usual ballad, instead taking on a more dancey R&B sound.

Produced by Akon, this new single is much more up-tempo than previous songs such as 'Bleeding Love' or 'Better In Time', yet still shows off her vocal talent to her best ability - whilst at the same time, showing a more fun and naughty side to the British singer.

Although 'Bleeding Love' had success that will be hard to beat, I can see 'Forgive Me' doing well due to the uplifting catchiness of the tune and mischievous subject of the lyrics. However, this song does sound a little dated and maybe not the best choice for a follow up single to 'Better In Time'.
