Believe it or not, a whole decade has passed since Irish boyband Boyzone released a new studio album - 1998's 'Where We Belong', if you had to ask. After calling it a day and lead singer Ronan Keating embarking on a seriously healthy solo career ever since, the five-piece are now back together and hoping for as much success as the similarly reformed Take That and New Kids On The Block.
'Love You Anyway' may be the band's first new material in ten years but you wouldn't know it, it's like the five-piece have never been away - they sound as close and polished as the era that spawned hits like 'Love Me For A Reason' and 'Words'. Only Boyzone haven't opted for the classic cover or heart-tugging soppy ballad you may be expecting - their big comeback is a bold and brassy bravado of catchy 60s pop and a strong foot-tapping chorus. It's surprisingly not bad.
