Five O'Clock Heroes - Who Featuring Agyness Deyn
[Glaze Recordings]

If there's one way to get attention to your band, then its getting a famous supermodel to sing on your new single. That's exactly what method Five O'Clock Heroes have taken for 'Who', and in this case, it's Agyness Deyn that can be heard giving a vocal performance. If Kate Moss' singing on 'La Belle et la BĂȘte' by Babyshambles had your eyes rolling, then you haven't heard anything yet - 'Who' is forgettable at best.

Sounding so contrived, it isn't long before it feels as though the band have sat down and planned this as an "instant hit single" before they even strummed the first chord. But ultimately failing in the process. It has all the elements that should by right make this a huge commercial success - duet vocals between Agyness and Antony Ellis, soft pop-rock guitars, a reasonable melody - yet, there is nothing - literally nothing, that would make you choose to buy this song, nor ever hit the play button for a second time.

Deyn has hinted of her own solo material to come, yet this leaves little to be desired. If the Scarlett Johansson album had journalists at their claws-out scathing best, then God help the poor girl if a music career is something she intends to pursue.
