Southern Fried are really on form this year. After releasing The Whip's mind-blowing 'X Marks Destination' album and the 'Mixtape' from The Black Ghosts last month, the second of these bands release this contribution of sinister dance, 'I Want Nothing'.

It's very typical of the band and continues a successful run of singles, that will finally amount to their debut album later this year. The heavy fusion of indie, dance and disco is exactly as we've come to expect, but the pair step up proceedings with heavy sinister synths that ride along a grittier-than-dirt bassline and those sweet vocals of Simon Lord, bettering anything we've come to hear from the duo to date.

Remixes from Sinden, Marcus Lange and Vincent Markowski makes the single even more of a must-have purchase, adding nice alternative angles on the track.
