Having toured the world about ten times over and fronting Brazilian party outfit Bonde do Role, eccentric shouty frontwoman Marina parted ways suddenly with the group last year, after just one album.

Not one to sit around aimlessly, this charismatic vocalist has re-emerged to collaborate with producer Edu K, for a track that overshadows her previous band. If truth be told, Bonde do Role weren't always the best option for Marina's vocals - some tracks lacked ideas, others were instantly disposable and more than a few moments failed to transform the high-energy antics from the stage (where she really came alive) onto record.

Featuring louder than bombs 4/4 beats and old-school rave synths, for a place where Baile funk and club-rock meet, Edu K has truly hit the nail on the head with this hook-up. It's more exciting, more sexy and more likely to grab passing listeners than anything we've heard from the singer before. Edu K is wrapping-up work on his second album and judging from this single, it's unclear as to what the record will offer - but it's sure going to be a lot of fun finding out.
