Bumblebeez is a name that doesn't disclose much about the band's music. Is it twee indie-folk? Another girl-pop group to rival the Sugababes and Girls Aloud? On the contrary, electro-wired indie with hip-hop touches is the name of the game here and the Australian sibling duo do it in true style.
Like the soundtrack to your best Summer, this feel-good song is a prelude to an album stuffed choc-a-bloc with anthems for the disturbed party - hip-hop-esque beats, cowbell percussion and even beat-boxing meet dance synths and antique keyboards head-on, fronted by a female rapper who'd even beat Amanda Blank in a catfight. Like Beck is he ever made a dance record with Justice on production duties; there is bound to be something here to tickle everyone's fancy.
