Two years out of the picture and Australian dance duo The Presets make their return, sounding bolder, stronger and more infectious than ever. My People is huge and not for the faint-hearted; it is the kind of sound to cause earthquake-sized ripples on the dancefloor and leave club goers bleeding from the ears, so intense is its pummeling synth riffs and bassline.

For fans of Mekon, Prinzhorn Dance School and Von Sudenfed, My People is all about the rough, dirty punk-inspired side of dance, where snarling, snotty vocals and industrial instrumentation are crafted to set the clubs alight. Album #2; apparently named Apocalypso, should hopefully continue this intent of frazzled-disco-punk and be the album this pair have been threatening to make for some time now.
