New Young Pony Club prove they have more to offer than just *that* song Ice Cream with their new single Get Lucky: another breezy chunk of slick electro-pop from debut album Fantastic Playground.
As usual, Tahita Bulmers' sarcastic, sassy vocals lead the way as the remainder of the band play the whole low-slung sexy bass angle, as percussion taps over rhythmic beats and synths. It's very fun and very danceable - what more could you ask for?
New Young Pony Club have come on hugely since their 2005 low-key debut The Get Go (read our review) in terms of success and songwriting, not to mention their awesome live shows. With tracks as strong as this though, it's clear it really never was a case of just getting lucky.
