The main problem with melodic bands these days, is the way they feel the need to turn each song into an epic and churn out the melody over and over, passed grating point and beyond. The five longing Londoners who form Grace, take a different approach, as their soothing and masterful piano glide hits a rising and catchy groove from the outset.

John-Paul Jones’ vocals possess the uplifting lag of Danny McNamara (Embrace) and its watered down with a weary Fran Healy (Travis) drag, taking this heart-wrenching and poetic piece neatly just over the three minute mark. Leaving the melody to linger only in the mind and continuing whistles of the listener.

That’s how it should be, don’t you think?
