Not the best thing to come from this Leeds five-piece by a mile and to be honest, Romantic Type falls a bit flat on its feet. There's the whole shouty chorus that saves the track from being an utter disaster, but the rest is instantly forgettable.

Now, a band that calls itself The Pigeon Detectives is never going to be a group that takes itself too seriously, but a hint of experimentation or originality wouldn't go amiss.

Instead we get the usual saturated and regurgitated British punk guitars, thrown in with a slightly frantic, jerky vocal and naturally, Romantic Type winds-down in just over the two minute mark to give it a sense of urgency. It just comes across a bit bland and dull.
