Biffy Clyro are a band who get far more credit and media coverage than they deserve. It's not that the Scottish trio make particularly bad music, they have had some great tunes behind them and a couple of albums they should be very proud of. Just sometimes they write bland, safe and predictable American rock that is currently also being made by a thousand other bands.
Sadly for us, Saturday Superhouse falls under this category. There's nothing new or interesting to latch onto, unless of course your musical tastes favour commercial pop rock, that is. Biffy Clyro have made a paint-by-numbers hit single; there's the anthemic chorus and passionate vocals, strong guitar hooks and melody, plus the token US sound favoured by Foo Fighters et al (at least they are Americans!).
Chances are you will have heard many, many songs exactly like this and unfortunately, Saturday Superhouse is just uninspired, disposable rock that should be avoided at all costs.
