Fuzzy 70s blues rock and a Kim Wilde meets Karen-O (frontwoman with Yeah Yeah Yeahs) singing prowl is shuddered out in the intro to this tempting release, as Andrea Wilde automatically creates the impression that she means business.
Her domineering, powerful and drawn-out vocals crawls over the fuzzy basslines in this flirtation with disco, dance and new wave. Lyrical simplicity is another no-nonsense aspect to this 19 year old Hertfordshire born vixen.
Debut single I'm In Love is bold in impact and builds enough of a beat to sway bodies and maul with minds. Provocation is nothing new in the female artist, but it doesn’t mean it still can’t be fresh, does it?
