Having finished 2006 proudly bellowing from a peak, after unleashing their third, booming and funky album ‘Skinny Grin’, this quivering quartet literally continues blow their to blow their own trumpet (well, saxophone), in this fusion of R N B, funk and jazz.
Driving force behind the outfit, Pete Wareham provides the funked up vibe that allows the Nelly Furtado and Missy Elliot vocal prowl of Alice Grant, to ride upon with frivolity for the album version.
Three remixes complement this single and, it is the Uncle Black Dub Mix that shakes things up to most produce the biggest impact. Lounge moulding, chill-out grooves rub over the distorted, hovering vocals to give the offering a chilling and a little jungle shake.
Acoustic Ladyland, with this offering have said to Festival Organisers “come and get us, you need us!”
