Will a new single from hip hop duo Gnarls Barkley win the pair any new fans? Well that's pretty doubtful as surely by now, every man and his dog has A) heard of the pair B) owns a copy of their platinum selling St Elsewhere album, thanks to a certain unit-shifting track entitled Crazy.
This aside, this new double A-side single takes two equally outstanding tracks from the LP; Who Cares and Gone Daddy Gone. The latter is scarily similar to Cobrastyle from US genre-twisting types Teddybears as both tracks are driven by the same heavy bass, hand claps and rock tendencies.
Who Cares on the other hand is an old school gem with Cee-Lo's soulful vocals dripping like honey over Dangermouse's slow hypnotic beats, organs and the occasional G-Funk effect. Whoever said they were a one-trick pony?
