Manchester's The Cardinals epic All Talk is released in 7 vinyl and download format on July 17th 2006 by Tri-Tone Recordings.
Leopard print scarves and long black coats make them look every bit the 80s glam rockers in their promotional pictures. Their single release party is scheduled for the 20th of July, in a Church.
Musically the heavily effected guitars reminiscent of The Departure. The raw drumming is kept simple with an enthusiastic use of the crash cymbal between pauses. The strong Interpol-esque vocals are lightly backed up outweighing the instrumentals in volume. The overall result of which is a listen-able, but bland A-side.
The Departure comparison is stepped up on B-side All Messed Up. This track is considerably closer to dance-worthy, but will slip through your brain like sand through an hour glass because again, it is nothing new.
