Things are fitting together like a movie plot for the lashing East London quartet of Boy Kill Boy. They have timed the release of their most complete single to coincide perfectly with a prominent slot on the NME New Bands Tour.
'Suzie' has a slight serenading sound, akin to Hard-Fi after they have been marooned on a dense island for a fortnight, with nothing but Embrace CDs for their musical salvation. Singer, Chris Peck throws his stammering voice to display a dark edge to the lyrics, as feelings of desperation and gloomy self deprecation are flung out like washing on a Monday morning.
This dizzy sounding indie outfit are pouring more salt on the appetisers that are leading up to the main course of their looming debut album.
