Euros Childs has to follow his solo project name with Gorky's Zygotic Mynci in brackets. This is possibly because he knows his solo project is inconsequential.

Costa Rita is slow, gentle and harmless. It wants to be Super Furry Animals, but it lacks the bite and lushness of a release by that band. It meanders along, saying nothing much musically or lyrically. A novelty, let's say.

It'll probably sound all summery and lovely on the radio over the next few weeks but, like the ice cream the protagonist is selling, it'll melt away into a pool of sugar and chemicals before you know it.
