The hook is blatant as the sun; three girls in micro skirts, a guitarist, a keyboard and some drums.
Think sixties dance flooring, and some Japanese face pulling with lots and lots and lots of hairspray transferred into sound. It is all horribly sickly sweet and horribly simple. It is horribly quirky and it's horribly retro.
The chorus is painless, but at times the vocals waver through the tune. It all sounds and looks lyrically and literally Japanese. This single would have been thoroughly enjoyable if it wasn't for all of the effing balloons getting in the God dammed way of the conga line.
