Munich, along with debut single Bullets, helped elevate Editors into the realms of indie stardom during 2005. A re-release opens 2006, hoping to futher the popularity of their top ten album and sold out UK tours.

Every mention of the band up until now, has been lumped alongside comparisons to Joy Division and Interpol, yet with such a blatant influence on Editors' music, it's difficult not to mention their obvious presence. Munich is an art-rock classic, similar to the jerky indie tunes of Franz Ferdinand with a much bleaker vision, the rhythm section is the usual combo of spiky, angular guitars, bouncing bass and dancey drum beats.

Munich is Editors doing what they do best, writing infectious indie anthems that should have their peers quaking. Recommended single.
