Come on, surely everyone has heard this single countless times over the last 12 months. Sadly, Maximo Park have taken the token indie route of rehashing the same songs over and over again, with this reissue of previous single Apply Some Pressure.
You should know the score by now, Maximo Park make infectious art-rock tracks, that combine edgy guitars with grand pop melody. The guitars offer the usual angular and spikey riffs, the bass throbs with pounding drums to create dancey rhythms with an indie angle. This will appeal to fans of Bloc Party, Franz Ferdinand and The Futureheads.
A great track by all means, but when are we going to hear something new?
